On the 16th of March till 18th of March 2009 we had our blog exhibition in the college's student corner. The participating students are Wan Nur Liyana(C.MO's World), Chai Min Siew(Bao Family), Joe Lin(Tales of Hoola), Sum Yuet Tyng(The Penguins), Kartini JR(Jello The Yellow Dude), Rachel Chu(Nininja), Ham Cheah How(U O Bean) and of course myself too. Great job everybody! ^_^ Thanks to those who visited and also thanks to the school and Mr James for organizing this! Now time for pictures! XD
This is my table(thanks for lending me the table cloth Liyana..lol ^^). As you can see I made a T-shirt, badges, mousepad, bookmarks, notebook, pencil lead, eraser, clip, mini calendar and clay models.

This is Liyana's C.MO's World. She put a lot of effort for this project and the lecturers agree too! She improved her character a few times until its perfect and those packaging things are not easy to do. Well done sayang! ^___^ and thanks for the marshmallows? hehe..
This is Min Siew's Baoz Family. She made a lot of nice merchandise especially the fans. Those are lots of effort put in! Nobody wants to eat these Baoz, too cute to be eaten!
This is Joe's Tales of Hoola. Cute, simple and effective character design. This project was a good lesson for me that sometimes complicated things are not good! and I'm not sure why the clay models are naked? ^_^; Nevermind, nude is cute!
Posters of Hoola and The Penguins. You all trying to kill people with the cuteness??
On the left of the table is Yuet Tyng's The Penguins. This is one of my favourites, I love the save the enviroment concept that goes with it and the cuteness that kills. Her merchandise are printed on recycle paper and it looks very nice!
On the right is Kartini's cute little Jello the Yellow Dude. She did very well for a 1st year 1st sem student and I admire her efforts to try her best even when she is not familiar with Illustrator yet because our school don't teach Illustrator until the 2nd sem. Well done! ^_^
Here we have is Rachel's cute Nininja and Cheah How's violent U O Bean.
The special thing here is the paper cutting done by Rachel. She likes paper cutting and it sure takes a lot of work! She did box templates for her character rather than a flat template for 2D artworks. She also included a sketch book(black book on the table) to share her progress of designing Nininja to other people, cool! One of her merchandise is a umbrella but I didn't manage to find the photo of it(in fact alot of photos went missing for no reason -.-;), oh well.
I like Ah How's sense of humour in this project. XD U O Bean directly translates to 'lei lou dao' in cantonese and his character is a bean that kills people! o.o *sha sha sha sha sha sha sha sha......* If he continues to develop his U O Bean character I'm sure it will be interesting. ^^ He did the badges(left of Nininja badges), CDs, bottles as the merchandise.
That's all for the participants of the exhibition. ^^ I think we all did a great job and we continued to put effort even though we know this project doesn't carry any marks or contribute to our CGPA. Most importantly is the process we went through, I'm sure all of us learnt new things and upgraded our skills. Don't forget this project is also a valuable addition to our port folio.
So give yourselves a clap! *clap* XD
